Hi Sam, if you see me wandering around the event please give me a shout. Maybe I'll see you on the road, I should be easy to spot as I'll have a GoPro camera stuck on top of my helmet :)

Hi Paul,
Your trip to St.Tropez sounds like fun. I too will be riding down at the same time. I was there last year and loved it.
I own a mobile home in Port Grimaud a mile from the site. If you need any information, that may help you...please mail me.
Cheers, Sam

A year ago I had a 950 Supermoto before my 1200 and I thought it was an absolute screamer of a bike. I traded both the supermoto and my 950 Adventure for my Beemer. If you want a good bike for travelling and everything else in fact, you won't go far wrong with the GSA.

Hi Darren.

I've got a few ideas already but the first thing I need to do is get the bike sorted. I currently own a KTM 950 Supermoto but that's not going to be at all suitable so I'm trying to decide between trading it in for an adventure as shown above or hiring a bike for the job.

Kit wise I need to do a few practical tests with the 5D, I like the way the images look but I haven't used it enough to be confident that it is suitable for the rigours of event work.

It's going to be fun experimenting though!

Paul,

I look forward to stealing any good ideas you may discover, my friend and co pilot Chris is about to dive into the 5D experience. It's great to find out we both share a passion for bikes and travel.

Regards Darren
