GEAR & REVIEWS

Here’s a list of the bits and bobs I use. This list is getting quite large now, and that would explain why I don’t seem to have made much money over the past couple of years. I’m addicted to kit!

Hi Paul, I see you have a steadicam Pilot. Does the EX1 fit comfortably enough in the weight range of the pilot and can you add on weight with the DOF adaptor etc and still manage to stay under the 10lbs limit? Many thanks.

    • Hi there. The pilot is perfect for the EX1, I’ve used mine with a sennheiser mic and LED light on board before and the pilot handles it really well. I tried fitting my Brevis once but it takes the weight over the pilots limit and the arms bottom out so you would probably need to move up to a bigger system for that.
