Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM II

Announced today was the Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM II lens. The new lens is reported to improve autofocus speed as well as image quality at the same time as reducing the weight of the lens significantly over the previous model by 29% to 1045g.

Introducing FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II | Sony | Lens

One of the features I really like about the new lens is the inclusion of an iris control with a switch to choose between click or non-click operation, I’m hoping we see this included in the rumoured upcoming version of the FE 24-70 GM II as well!
